    Sorry Manda and Dee. Was pulled up to Top Table last minute to help! Ahh...

    Well this was what happened:

    Monday. SSM. I'm at Sugarloaf! Outdoor Sales! Whoot! Yay! And just nice that day I wasn't feeling too good, so outdoor sales was perfect where I could work at a slower pace. My duty was to push cart around TP selling Sugarloaf products.

    During grooming, we found out we had VVIP event ie they need 7 "volunteers" to help out at Vista (our restaurant foyer for invited guests) and Top Table had 4 absentees - of which 3 were crucial positions: a captain and 2 waiters and we found out later, all 3 were supposed to be working at the same station. ie Whole of station 2 was absent. And THANK YOU JEROME, the headwaiter for Top Table that day for picking me to replace the waiter! RAHS AT YOU!

    So in a minute, I was happy-outdoor sales-push cart to work alot-don't know menu for that day-sick-waitress! Thanks ALOT Jerome. You owe me BIG time!

    Thankfully Vista was serving nearly 30 pax so they capped Top Table at 40 guests. I was later assigned to station 3 instead cause they realised whole of station 2 was replacements from Sugarloaf and they need to shuffle the people so that those prepared for the day can help us. But luckily we were previously at Top Table so we knew how operations were like.

    Service was rather smooth overall and I'm really surprised and impressed by this group's coordination. It was nice and less stressful to work with this group and little glitches. Our station was quite ok too.

    I just can't stand Mr S. It's as if he eats dynamites and shoots off at people at the slightest bit of irritation. I wanted to adjust the waiter's cloth myself and he scolded me "What's wrong with you?! I've done it for you, why are you adjusting it?!" And he grabbed the cloth from me to position it on the plate again. In the end I didn't want to use another waiter's cloth for the other plate and rushed to serve the scalding plate to the guests. Burnt my fingers. Ouch. But seriously I don't like the way he "advises". I want to try and find my own style of service and here I am scolded for doing so. Sigh.

    Yup yup. So here's my sad tale. And I won't be able to do outdoor sales this term again! I'm really sad. =(

    Sorry Amanda and Dee! Really glad you came to support! Sorry for not being able to serve you! =_=

    music fades to light ;
